MedCo Charging Policy April 2022

On 6 January 2022, I wrote to you to let you know of changes to the charging policy with effect from 6 April 2022.

The MedCo board of directors has decided that the charging policy effective from 6th April 2022 will be as follows: (a full copy of the Charging Policy from April 2022 can be viewed here)

 

Existing and New MRO Registration

Tier 1                   New                    £150,000

                           Renewal             £97,500

Tier 2                   New                    £20,000

                           Renewal             £13,000

There will be no facility for payment by instalments.

 

Direct Medical Experts

In addition to the annual registration fee there will continue to be charges for case data uploaded to the system. The annual fee will include an allowance of 300 uploads. The annual fee will be payable in advance and case data charges in excess of 300 uploads will be raised in arrears on 1 October 2022 and 1 April 2023.

Indirect Medical Experts

Note: Medical experts that work as both a DME and take work from MROs as an IME will only be required to pay the DME fee.
